Zotung is located in the Middle of Chin State, which is in the Northwestern part of Myanmar. Zotung territory is bordered by Mindat in the East-West, Matupi in the West, Mara in the North-West, Hakha in the North, and Gangaw in the East. The capital of Zotung is Rezua. It has one main car-road connecting Gangaw-Zotung-Matupi. Some writers speculate Zotung people as a group of ethnic who were originated in Tibet and slowly sparse into the neighboring areas, Zotung territories. Some of Zotung histories were recalled and interpreted by speculating the names of ancient events and places, the art and song inscriptions on the stones, antiques, and also from the histories told by the elders.

According to Zotung Siabawi Dr. Paw Khua Ming, Zotung people were derived from Tibetan and the Tibetan was originated in Israel. There were many proves Dr. Paw Khua Ming provided in the book named “Zotung Siabawi Dr. Paw Khua Ming Konglang, 2010.”
